isointense to hyperintense
Atrophy
T2 Hyperintense  
FLAIR Edema: hyperintense
subarachnoid hemorrhage: hyperintense
Hypointense hemosiderin in scar and in cystic encephalomalacia
Hyperintense in areas of demyelination and gliosis
GRE Hypointense hemorrhage Hypointense hemosiderin in scar
DWI Hyperintense with decreased ADC in areas of cell death
Isointense with increased ADC vasogenic edema
