- Ureterectasis: For example from a prior obstruction that has since resolved
- Vesicoureteral reflux
- Congenital megacalycosis and megaureter
- Papillary necrosis: Obstruction due to sloughed papilla
- Extrarenal pelvis
- Prune-belly syndrome
- Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome: May be related to reflux
